SETHEMBA stands for HOPE and is about empowering people and organizations.
Every organization has a mission centered on the impact they want in the lives of people they serve. Yet many struggle to align their systems and daily operations with that core purpose. Our mission is to help bridge the gap between aspiration and impact through strategic planning and organizational development. SETHEMBA stands for HOPE - and that's what we bring: hope that organizations can truly live their mission and impact every day.
This work inspires individuals to delve into the boundless opportunities that arise from merging their unique expertise with innovative capabilities, such as artificial intelligence (AI). It invites them to embrace the exhilarating journey ahead, discovering how this powerful technology can serve as a catalyst for realizing their ambitions and transforming their aspirations into reality. It starts with DARE, a straightforward yet impactful framework that promotes bold experimentation with generative AI.
Generative Artificial Intelligence is A People Story, Not a Technology Story (Changemakers Series)
This one-hour session for the University of the Pacific Benerd College Changemaker Series was designed to demystify generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) and showcase its potential as a powerful tool to enhance our everyday lives and work. Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of GenAI, including how it learned and processed information and assisted in tasks that ranged from content creation to data analysis.
Rather than viewing AI as a competitor, this session encouraged attendees to see it as a collaborative partner that could streamline repetitive tasks, support creative processes, and provide deeper insights to help make informed decisions. The presentation also introduced the DARE framework to encourage people to Develop, Augment, Research, and Enhance with GenAI.
